Instaparty N°8

As leaves change their color from season to season, so does my Instagram feed. Warm red, orange and brown shades herald last sunny days and the beginning of the coldest season of the year. Although this is my least favourite time of the year (too cold for me), I'm happy that I'll be spending festive days in Ljubljana, surrounded by Christmas lights, mulled vine and my amazing friends. But for now let the hashtags tell the stories.

Wang x H&M Inspiration: Statement Beanies

The last in the series of Alexander Wang X H&M inspirational posts is THE statement Wang beanie. Beanies have been in trend for quite a while now, but I feel that Alexander Wang gave them a whole new meaning. They got bigger, more striking and represent the center of the attention. I've searched for some of the coolest statement beanies with catchy captions just for you and found out that there are so many (cheap ones) on eBay and Amazon (I assume the quality isn't that good though).

Show the world that you 'Ain't no wifey' or let them know you're the biggest 'Party animal'. You can even share same beanies with your bestie! There are so many options with attractive captions for everyone. Let the beanie speak for you!

But if you by any chance don't find a statement that will work for you, you can get creative and make one on your own! All you need is a simple black beanie, iron on letters and ironing skills (which I'm sure you have).

Addicted to.. Pinterest!

We've already been talking about Instagram and Youtube on FPB, so let's discuss about another great social platform today - Pinterest! I've created my Pinterest account recently and when I started pinning, I couldn't stop! It's so convenient to have an online visual inspiration with photos, gathered in one place. Instead of saving photos to my computer, I simply pin them to a certain board and when I seek inspiration, I look at my profile and have all the boards in one place. It's very easy and very organized. Who knew pinning can be so much fun! :)

For all those of you that are not familiar with Pinterest, it's basically a virtual bulletin, where you can find and share ideas. For example, I already have 37 boards, with Fashion, Home decor, Makeup and Celebrity style inspiration. I even gather all of my favourite Blogger looks in one board. So when I don't know what to wear (happens every morning), I look at the board and find some cool ideas that give me inspiration and help me choose my outfit of the day.

It's super fun and you can get a whole lot of ideas for.. basically anything! Searching for a peanut butter recipt? Check. Looking for a wedding decoration ideas? Check. Want to know how to start your own blog? Check. Everything is there and like I said, once you start pinning, you just can't stop (and you won't stop).

So feel free to head over to my Pinterest profile and get inspired by my creative boards or create your own ones.

Happy pinning! ;)

Wang x H&M inspiration: Grey Sweaters

Second piece in the series of Wang's collection for H&M inspirational posts is grey sweatshirt pullover, which I'm sure all of you have seen countless times already, let it be on bloggers, celebrities or big ads, promoting the collection. It's a piece that is instantly recognizable because of its huge WANG branding at front, and I'm sure it was sold out immediately after the launch. But don't worry, you can still achieve (almost) the same look with similar grey sweater. Just take the inspiration out of it and add your personal style. I love how such casual and sporty piece of clothing can be worn in a very chic and elegant way. I'd wear it tucked in in a leather skirt with combination of elegant black booties and paired with some delicate silver jewelry. I think it would look very feminine and chic, just the way I like it. How would you wear it?

I've searched through different online stores and found some pieces, that are great substitutes to Wangs' grey sweatshirt. Net-a-porter and The Outnet have really huge selection! You can choose plain one or go for a more fun option- some playful print on it. The choice is yours!

Wang X H&M inspiration: Scuba dresses

Today's the day everyone's been waiting for. It's the day that Alexander Wang x H&M hits the stores! Everyone's been talking about the launch of the collection since day one and I can't even image how crowded will H&M stores be today! The 61-piece collection has an extremely sporty vibe and is, for sure, setting new standards in the fashion industry. From thick grey pullover sweatshirts, mesh-paneled leggings, cropped bra-tops, parkas, leather joggers and scubba dresses to boxing gloves and beanies, all with huge WANG branding on it. Even though I'm not really a fan of that kind of style, I have to say that I found some pretty awesome pieces for myself too.

Now for all those, who don't want to scrouge in lines at 8 o'clock in the morning, but still want to get your hands on some of the amazing sporty pieces, I decided to do some kind of inspirational/shopping posts, including pieces, inspired by the collection. This time I'm sharing with you scuba dresses, that can be worn in sporty OR elegant way. I've searched for some of the best pieces just for you and I hope you'll like them :)
