How Long Can You Use Certain Makeup?

So last week I had a big cleaning action in my makeup department and I found so many unused products that are already out of date. I realized I've never really thought about their ife span. You know when lipsticks or lipglosses get a specific smell? It means they're expired. It might soundy silly, but makeup is like food - it has its expiration date. So if you're in doubt how long you can  use certain products, here is the list of their life span:

24 MONTHS
Loose powder foundations
Bronzers
Blushes
Eyeshadows
Pencil eyeliners

18-24 MONTHS
Lip glosses

18 MONTHS
Cream compact powders

12-18 MONTHS
Cream eyeshadows
Cream blushes
Correctors
Concealers

12 MONTHS
Lipsticks
Lip pencils

3 MONTHS
Liquid or gel liners
Mascaras

1 MONTH
Foundations without oil

Top 5 Most Useful Mobile Apps

1. CLUE
Keep a track of your period like a pro! Clue allows you to monitor your periods and record your bleeding, pain and mood through every day of it. The app shows you your whole cycle and fertile window and calculates your next period. Very practical.

2. REMOTE MOUSE
You know that feeling when you put a movie on your computer, lie on a couch and cover in blankets but then realize that you forgot to press Play button? Because you're too lazy to stand up again, you use the Remote mouse which allows you to manage your computer through phone. It connects to your PC via wi-fi and then you can use it as a computer mouse. Perfect solution for lazy people!

3. 1PASSWORD
If you're one of those who often forget their passwords, than this app is perfect for you. It allows you to have all the passwords under one roof. They are divided into categories of Logins, Secure Notes, and Credit Cards. The Logins section also has built-in options that you can choose from. For example Facebook, Amazon, Yutube or whatever. You just click it and save your username + password. The app is secured by touch ID so you don't have to worry that someone else might find your secret codes.

4. TIMEGLASS
This app will make your life more organized. It has many timers, that can run all at the same time (which is impossible with built-in iPhone timer), so you'll keep a track of your daily routines much easier. Timers also have multiple steps, which is great for workout routines or cooking. And while preparing your chicken or doing the crunches, you don't even have to look at the screen, because Spoken timers can read the recipe for you. Cool, right?

5. AROUND ME
Now this is the app that I use the most of all five. It shows you all the restaurants, petrol stations, pubs or hotels that are closest to you. How many times have you been wandering around looking for ANTM? Well, not anymore, because with AroundMe you'll find it in no time (Wow, this sounded like a commercial). Anyway, just dowload it and you'll see that is indispensable.

Now tell me, which are your most useful apps?

The Best Fashion Week Collections

Every fashion week season I like to do "The Best Of" recap, where I sum up all of my favourite looks from different designers. Now I don't do this just to show you my favourites but also to get an overview of what will be trendy next season.

Then when the time comes, I look at my old posts, scan all the looks and get the basic idea about the trends. But then the problem occurs - where do I find pieces like that? Now I don't have thousands of euros to spend on luxury brands and low-end brands don't sell clothes like that. Just some oversized, poorly made pieces that hide all the body proportions. C'mon! I want tailored shirts and dresses, I want to show my feminine curves and not wear some unisex hoodies. I mean, equality also has its limits! Women and men are meant to be different, not to wear the same clothes. This oversized fashion has been in trend for way too long and it's time to go out. Who's with me?

All that being said, let's focus on the runway. I'm so happy that Michael Kors and Oscar de la Renta are back in the game with chic feminine pieces and clean cuts. Actually, when I look at the collections, I can say that they're all quite similar. There are a lot of black and whites with chic embelishments, flowers, low V-necks and sheer. Now this is what I like.

It also happend for the first time that Chanel dissapointed me and D&G was a little bit too kitschy for my taste. The designer that stands out of my favourites the most is Anya Hindmarch with pastel hues, clean cuts and soft edges. Which one is your favourite?
