Lady K. In The USA

Heeey guys! Guess what? I'm going to USA tomorrow! Aaaa it's going to be my first time there so I'm veeery excited and can't wait for the big adventure!

You may know that I'm a cheerleader so the reason I go there is ICU Cheerleading World Championship. I'm going to compete in hip-hop doubles with my friend Tina. We've really worked hard and train every day, so I hope that hard work will pay off. The championship takes place in Disneyland, Orlando, and after that we're going to Miami, San Francisco, LA and Las Vegas. So many great places in only two weeks! There's not gonna be much sleep for us! :)

Well, since this is going to be a very long and exhausting trip (it takes 10 hours by plane from Slovenia to Orlando) I gathered some beauty advice that can be very useful during long flights like this. You will find them in my next post TOMORROW!

Stay tuned! ;)

DIY Leopard Belt

I've always wanted leopard belt, but couldn't find the perfect one. Some were too thick, some looked cheap, some had ugly buckle.. so I thought to myself why not MAKE one, that's gonna be just the way I want. And so I got this 1m leather cord and start creating. See how:

At first I didn't really know how to make a belts' buckle. But then I just went to the art store and found this magnetic closure, which perfectly fits to my belt. So the main thing is to find a great art store that is well-stocked and between all their products you can easily find the solution for your conceptual impasse :)

Step 1: Measure you waist and cut the cord to the wanted lenght. With a closure like this you can't regulate the lenght, so think if you're going to wear it in your pants (then it has to be longer) or in your dress (in this case, you'll make shorter one). Well, or just make two belts.

Step 2: Since my belt has leopard print, silver closure didn't really match with it, so I painted it with my black nailpolish. If you want you can also put some glitters on it.

Step 3: When the color dried, I put some glue in to the holes of the closure, put the ends of the belt in them and let the glue dry. (Be careful that you turn closures the right way!)

And well ... that's all! Here's my new belt!

Let me know what you think about it!

My DIY collection is getting bigger and bigger! :) have you already seen all the projects?

DIY Leather Knot Bracelet

Last time I talked about new DIY projects that are on the way and well, here is the first one! I did a simple leather bracelet with a knot, which kind of reminds me of the sea and is perfect for summer trips. It can be a great adition to striped navy blue dress! So, let's start. Here's what you need:

I got the leather cords on this site, where you can choose from lots of different colors and styles. I've chosen red and metallic one, since the material look so unique that the bracelet can be simple but yet looks chic. Forceps and bracelet locks are available in any art store. If they are well-stocked, you can choose from different shades, such as silver, gold or metallic black.

Step 1: Cut the cords to the lenght that you want (before that, measure your wrist). If you buy 1m long cord, you can use it for 3 or even 4 bracelets.

Step 2: Double wrap the cord and tighten it so you get a nice knot.

Step 3: Attach the locks with the forceps.

Step 4: Close the ends and tadaaa- the bracelet is done! Very easy, right?

You can wear single bracelet or combine two together. Let me know if you like it!?

Trend Report: Spring Essentials

Since I've already talked about updating the wardrobe, I think it's a good idea to sum up some of the main spring trends and pieces that are a must-have this season. This time I've chosen some of my favourite bloggers to make an example on. Chiara from The Blonde Salad, Jessica from Tuula Vintage, Veronica from The Fashion Fruit, Alexandra from Lovely Pepa, Ashley from Ring my Bell, Aimee from Song of Style and Shea Marie from Peace Love Shea really know how to wear this seasons' trends and can be a great inspiration. Let the pictures speak for themselves!

Let me know which trend is your favourite?
