Airport Style

Without a doubt aiport is one of the best places to spot authentic celebrity style. Airport fashion, particulary the celebrity kind, has never held greater fascination. I guess people just like to see how someone puts herself together in a real-life moment. Unlike the red carpet looks and many more fabulous moments of a celebrity's life that seem so airbrushed, this offers a glimpse of reality. It's that 'un-retouched' element that people love to witness. I've looked through many photos and realized there occur three airport styles (excluding Lady Gaga, who obviously deserves a special category).

Kdo bi si mislil, da bodo prav letališča tista, kjer lahko nekdo dobi največ inspiracije od slavnih zvezdnic. So prostor, kjer jih zmeraj ulovijo gruče paparacev in zato mora biti njihova odločitev o tem, kaj bodo oblekle, vsaj pol toliko tehtna kot tista za kak gala dogodek. Ker se za pot (najverjetneje) oblačijo brez pomoči stilistov, pride do izraza njihov pravi smisel za modo. Ob pregledovanju slik sem opazila, da je mogoče njihove 'letališke stile' razvrstiti v tri skupine (razen Lady Gage, ki je definitivno razred zase).

Celebrities with chic airport style don't give much to the comfort. I mean, how can you spend hours on a plane in short skirt and heels? Doesn't work for me but I guess it works for them. However they sure look amazing. If you're a type of girl who has that girly, romantic stlye, this is your inspiration. Go for a flirty dress or cute skirt and pair it with cashmere sweather and elegant bag. Emma Watson and Miranda Kerr are a real eye catchers when it comes to their effortlessly chic airport looks.

Te zvezdnice ne dajo veliko na udobje, ampak jim je najpomembneje to, da tudi na letalu izgledajo karseda šik. Nenazadnje nikoli ne veš kdaj te bo 'ujel' kak paparac, kajne? ;) Emma Stone, Miranda Kerr in Taylor Swift so dekleta z dekliškim, romantičnim stilom, ki ga le še poudarijo z lahkotnimi oblekicami in elegatnimi torbicami. Ne morem reči, da jim je na letalu ravno udobno, ampak vsaj izgledajo dobro ;)

COMFY
Unlike the chic group, these celebrities swear by comfort. Forget about the bright colors and narrow cuts.. it's all about neutral colors and good feeling. The main thing about the comfy airport style is the layering. This way one can easily adjust to high and low temperatures. Big scarf and even bigger shades are a must. But if you decide to go for comfort- please follow the example of Selena and ignor Heidi Klum's ridiculous military tracksuit.

Za razliko od prve skupine, ki jim največ pomeni izgled, te zvezdnice prisegajo na udobje. Bistvenega pomena pri tem načinu oblačenja je praktično plastenje, ki omogoča prilagajanje različnim temperaturam. Brez šala pri tem stilu ne gre, obvezna pa je tudi bombažna jopica in velika sončna očala, ki zakrijejo utrujen obraz.

Moram priznati, da nekaterim ta enostaven, domač stil prav pristaja. Selena npr. še z malomarno oblečeno jakno in ovita v šal izgleda izjemno dobro. Po drugi strani pa je Heidi Klum ta 'comfy look' vzela preveč resno..

COOL
Now these are the looks that I like the most- not to elegant and not to messy. Their outfits give the impression of indifference but this is what makes them so cool. Black is a must-have if you opt for this style and headphones are just that icing on the cake. Don't forget to wear a beanie and some cool sneakers, combined with even cooler (and this season so fashionable) backpack.

Te zvezdnice definitivno vedo, kako izgledati kul. To je nekakšna vmesna pot med chich in comfy look-om. Ne izgledajo preveč elegantne, njihova oblačila so udobna, ampak še zmeraj izražajo njihov stil. Outfiti dajejo vtis brezbrižnosti, ampak ravno zaradi tega delujejo še toliko bolj zanimivi. Črna barva je tukaj definitivno must-have, kapa, usnjena jakna in slušalke na ušesih, pa le še dodajo tisto piko na i.

I know that we, mere mortals, don't usually think too much when choosing clothes for the airport, but these celebrities prove, that how you look is important even at the airports.
