New York, New York

The best thing about fashion month is that it always gives me that special feeling.. something between excitement and fascination. I think it's amazing just to think about how many thoughts go into collections and how much effort is put in the work of those precious pieces.

Let's go back to the first destination - New York, which served some of the most amazing collections. My favourite was Reem Acra, followed by Marchesa, Red Valentino and Kate Spade. Tommy Hilfiger proved that it's not just all about polo shirts, stripes and bermuda shorts, Valentino's collection had some great day-to-night pieces and Marchesa's red dress made me want to get married in it.

Diane Von Furstenberg's fashion show spread the power of love. The girls were dancing on the catwalk and having fun BUT.. the clothes didn't impress me. Michael Kors also didn't present anything breathtaking and Oscar de la Renta's collections just aren't the same since the great master died. When he left, a piece of magic left with him.
