It's been a while since I've been creative so with upcoming Christmas in mind I decided to do something that can make a great present for your friends. I'm sure everyone will be happy to recieve a handmade piece in which you poured your love and soul :)

So we'll be doing a cute leather fringe keychain that can make a great and very chic accessory.

Here's what you'll need:

 

Step 1: Cut the leather laces into many equal parts. I got 11 pieces long 7cm out of 1.5m of leather lace. 

Step 2: Take a piece of lace and glue it at the end. Then stick it to the inner side of an end cup.

 

Step 3: Continue sticking lace pieces one to the other until you fill all the space inside of a cup.

Step 4: With forceps attach the ring and closure.

 

Step 5: You're done! Now your fringe chain is ready to be wrapped up and given to your friend as a present. Well of course you can make one for yourself too! Use it as a keychain or bag and clothing accessory.

There's no doubt that pastels have hit the fashion scene big time. They're supposed to be spring trend, but seems like many bloggers are overtaking that 'rule'. Even I've started to adopt this ice-creamy trend very fast and I just love how girly and cute it looks.

So are pastels becoming the new black? I think so! And this is why I decided to make some lovely bracelets (because who says this trend is reserved only for clothes?!). I was inspired by Pandora bracelets and Swarowski jewelry and I really like the final result. See for yourself!

Supplies:

The main thing about making these bracelets is to find great supplies. When you have those, there's really not much work left, because the process is just very easy. When it comes to DIY projects, endlessleather.com is my go-to online store, since they really have everything you need! From leather cords to rhinestones and bracelet locks- I purchased everything on their site.

Step 1: Measure your wrist and cut the leather cords at the wanted lenght (you can also wrap them twice around).

Step 2: Take the end cup and place it at the end of the cord. The great thing about these cups is that they fit perfectly, so you can easily attach them with some superglue.

 

Step 3: Place your beads. You can add just one or even ten and play with different color combinations. The beads are made of stainless steel and the rhinestones in them look just like the Swarovski ones. So luxe!

Step 4: Place the closure at the other end of the cord.

Step 5: Put it on your wrist and you're 'pastel-ready!' Don't they look so prestige?

Extra: Play around and make different kind of bracelets or wear them with your usual jewelry. Here are some ideas:

I've always wanted leopard belt, but couldn't find the perfect one. Some were too thick, some looked cheap, some had ugly buckle.. so I thought to myself why not MAKE one, that's gonna be just the way I want. And so I got this 1m leather cord and start creating. See how:

At first I didn't really know how to make a belts' buckle. But then I just went to the art store and found this magnetic closure, which perfectly fits to my belt. So the main thing is to find a great art store that is well-stocked and between all their products you can easily find the solution for your conceptual impasse :) 

Step 1: Measure you waist and cut the cord to the wanted lenght. With a closure like this you can't regulate the lenght, so think if you're going to wear it in your pants (then it has to be longer) or in your dress (in this case, you'll make shorter one). Well, or just make two belts. 

Step 2: Since my belt has leopard print, silver closure didn't really match with it, so I painted it with my black nailpolish. If you want you can also put some glitters on it.

Step 3: When the color dried, I put some glue in to the holes of the closure, put the ends of the belt in them and let the glue dry. (Be careful that you turn closures the right way!)

And well ... that's all! Here's my new belt!
