Valentine's day has always been a great excuse for me to update my lingerie collection with some new gorgeous pieces. Wearing something beautiful and sexy under your clothes will make you feel good and I'm sure your significant other will no doubt appreciate it if you spice up your undergarments. So what better opportunity to refresh your closet with some sexy intimates than on Valentine's day! Valentine's day is approaching with top speed and even though I advocate old-skul type of gifts, like a handwritten note and a bouquet of flowers, it's still nice to sometimes surprise your better half with little something that she wants.. and have been giving you clear signals about it through the whole year. Now for those guys that can recognize the signals - problem solved. But for those that have no idea what I'm talking about right now, here's a gift guide that can help you choose a gift for your better half. The most awaited event at the beginning of December? Victoria's Secret fashion show, of course! Top models, top singers with amazing performances and breathtaking lingerie are the resons why we all can't wait to see the show. Since the latter will be awailable to watch only on 9th of December, here are photos from the show to satisfy your excitement. Which collection or model was your favourite? I have to vote for Taylor Swift this time. Her black lingerie performace outfit was stunning and with her gorgeous look she could easily be one of the angels.

Appart from tartan, there is another trend to watch this season. I'm talking about sexy lace lingerie dresses, which were first seen at Louis Vuitton A/W 2013 fashion show and left us with mixed feelings. This was unil we saw the same dress on Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss and they convienced us that it can look oh-so-good!

Appart from dresses, there are plenty forms of lingerie trend such as tops, skirts and even shorts (ZARA has a lot of options). It's time to leave the shyness behind and show your sensuality! Here are some examples on how to wear this trend:

ELEGANCE IS THE KEY

Show your femininity by wearing your lingerie dress or top just the way it is. Add some classic elegant pumps and curly hair for a romantic look or create more edgy style by combining it with ankle boots and flannel shirt tied around your waist. Red lips are a must!

PLAY WITH IT

The great thing about lingerie dress is, that it's so verastile you can wear it in a lot of different ways. Play with a sweater and try few styling combinations. Tie it around your waist, wear it over the dress or combine it with a jacket or coat.

COVER IT UP

Who says lingerie trend cannot be worn in cold months? With some layering you can create a chic winter look and that pop of lace will make people wonder what your're wearing underneath. Don't forget to add a warm scarf for a final touch.

It's that time of the year again! A time, when we're all so excited to see the angels and their breathtaking outfits!
